Greetings,

The Pegasus Film Festival (PFF) is seeking creative and collaborative high school students to join the 2020 PFF leadership team with paid internships.

Founded by students at Booker T. Washington High School VPA in 2016, the Pegasus Film Festival is the only student-led film festival in Texas. It is a festival by students for students with a goal of raising funds to host filmmaking summer programs.

Over the last four years, the festival has expanded immensely. In fact, this year, there were over 100 film submissions from students all over the state and beyond! Furthermore, the festival showcased live music from local artists and screened award-winning films at the amazing Angelika Film Center.

For 2020, PFF is looking to grow even more with new bright young minds.

Available positions include the following:

  • Festival Director (and Assistant Festival Director)

  • Festival Producer (and Assistant Festival Producer)

  • Development Director

  • Social Media Coordinator

  • Writer

  • Art Designer*

  • Lead Videographer*

  • Lead Photographer*

If you’re interested in applying, all you have to do is send a resume and a short explanation of why you are a strong candidate by November 1, 2019. Feel free to apply for as many positions as you wish. *If you decide to apply for Art Designer, Lead Videographer, and/or Lead Photographer, a small portfolio can also be sent with the application, though not required. Email any questions to Andy Huynh or Niloo Jalilvand <andyvhuynh@gmail.com> <njalilvand@dallasisd.org>.
